First of all I would like you to welcome to our new blog. This blog is just a fresh meat and this is our first post.You might be reading and scratching your head saying what is this BRiCKS? Is it a construction company or something? If you have noticed carefully their is small 'i' and others are in Capital letters..Why is it so? Question Question everywhere..The answers are hard to define but could be answered if you could see our journey...
The journey begins when I had a project to be completed within few days which was related to social work.I asked my friends for help.One of my close friends Rashmi Prakshale (I call her Rash !!) recommended me to do it on the great worker Sindhu tai Sapkal....When I first saw her work I was really amazed by her commitment..and never say die attitude. Her life was simply inspiring.I found her as a role model and took the subject too seriously...After the project was completed the same friend told me about her desire to be like Sindhu tai Sapkal..She wanted to be just like Sindhu tai and wanted to devote her life like tai..As a friend I wanted to help her but being Sindhu tai is not everyones cup of tea..It demands a lot of sacrifice and hard work. So I just nodded to her as a reaction .I told everything to my sister Rajashree Mane who also kept mum on this topic.Within a few days Rash told me that one of our close friend Mr. Suraj Kage who was far away from us needed some help..So I made a group on Whatsapp which was latter renamed "Helping Hands".After the help I wanted to delete that group.But one of my friend Mr.Nilkanth Shravan liked this idea to help others..helping the needy ones..he requested me not to delete the group..We could keep the group moving. And thus the group was kept as '"Helping Hands"
