Mukesh Ambani bought the company in 2010. This is a matter of public record and easily verifiable.
He bought a company in 2010 to convert his black money to white in 2017 because he knew Narendra Modi will win the 2014 elections and change the large denomination notes in 2016 till december end. That's as absurd as it sounds. Even if he employed the best astrologer in the world, it would still be stretching it too far to even think this has an iota of truth.

Edit: sorry, missed the point. Maybe he had developed a time machine which he used in future to travel back in time and gave the news about upcoming events to himself.
